Special pump for emulsion explosives

Transalpine rail and road tunnels, dams for hydro-electric and storage power plants – the number of major construction sites which need significant explosive work has increased considerably over recent years. The requirements for explosives have been changing. Higher performance and increased safety are the overriding objectives which are demonstrated above all in the greater use of emulsion explosives. In Switzerland alone – traditionally a country with a great deal of tunnel construction – the ratio changed between 1998 and 2005 from 100 percent explosives in cartridge form to 95 percent pumped emulsions. The benefits are huge: the components, which are not dangerous individually, are not mixed until they are on site. The finished mix fully uses the whole borehole, but also goes into small openings. Certainly, high-performance, customised pumps which meet the special challenges of the emulsion matrix or of the explosive are the basis for this. More

Dewatering

High pressure capabilities coupled with a reliable and robust construction ensures water levels are kept in check. As the pumps are able to handle suspended solids, separation can be carried out above ground.

Explosives

With the compact construction of the BY pumps they can be easily truck mounted for the bore hole filling of tertiary explosives. Equipped with hydraulic drives the pumps can be simply driven without complication.

Back filling applications

Where thickened slurries need to be back-filled a NEMO® hopper pump is used. High pressure and capacity capabilities, coupled with low wear rates ensure reliable cost effective operation.

Gland seal water

The high pressure capabilities of the NEMO® progressive cavity pump ensures that gland seal water can be safely supplied to critical glands at pressures of up to 50 bar and higher. The ideal combination of high pressure, lower flowrate pulsation free discharge ensures the ideal seal operating conditions.

Chemical dosing

For the dosing of all types of chemicals and additives the NEMO® pump is the ideal choice. With a flowrate directly proportional to the rotation speed the pump can accurately dose the required chemicals without wastage.

Leachates

TORNADO® 로터리 로브 펌프 T2

TORNADO® 로타리 로브펌프는 용적식 펌프의 종류입니다. 펌핑 동작은 펌프 챔버 내에서 반대방향으로 회전하는 2개의 로터에 의해 발생합니다. 유체는 흡입구를 통해 펌프 챔버에 들어오며, 로터에 의해 챔버 주변를 따라 이동 , 토출구를 통해 이송됩니다.
